Clinical support, for the practice

Clinical Support Set Up

Choose whether each person’s Sensus report ends with a page of clinical guidance for the clinician, which guidelines it draws on, and which medicines it covers.

Decision support, off by default. When it is on, the clinician version of the report, opened only for a check-in given in the office, gains a final page that sets the latest check-in beside NICE CG178 (schizophrenia) and CANMAT (the mood components the M3 picks up), plus the label points for each medicine the person takes. Guidance is a prompt for a conversation, never an instruction. It never recommends starting, changing or stopping a medicine and never shows a dose. In the live platform only a practice administrator can change these settings; in this draft they are kept in this browser.

Guidelines

NICE CG178 Schizophrenia

Psychosis and schizophrenia in adults. Physical-health monitoring timetable, 4–6 week trials, adherence and long-acting injections, side-effects, no combined antipsychotics, treatment resistance and clozapine, CBT for psychosis, family intervention, supported employment, smoking and healthy living.

On
CANMAT Mood components

CANMAT/ISBD 2018 (bipolar) and the CANMAT 2023 depression update. Shown only when the M3 depression or bipolar screen is positive. CANMAT does not cover schizophrenia itself.

On

Medicines

Medicine points appear only for medicines the person lists as current. Turn off any your practice does not want covered.

Every rule

What the guidance page can say

Each line fires only when the record shows the pattern in the first column. Rules for a guideline or medicine that is switched off are greyed out here and left off the report.

Wording summarises the guideline. Before release each NICE line will be replaced by the exact recommendation text and number, and each CANMAT line checked against the published tables.
